Notes |
- “After graduating from Vero Beach High School, [Sonja] moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she attended and graduated from Jones Business College. Ms. Sellers was employed by the City of Jacksonville as a legal secretary, where she retired after 20 years of service. Sonja was an avid reader, who loved reading her bible and other inspirational devotionals that brought her great joy, especially the daily devotional books she received each Christmas from her grand-daughter Ally. Also an avid Jaguar fan, she would faithfully watch them every time they were on television, no matter how good or bad they were playing. Sonja was a member of Rise Church, and would always attend services rain or shine. She loved Gods Word and loved singing praises to her King alongside her beloved family. Sonja was a very compassionate, loving and giving person, always putting her family and others needs before her own. She gave regularly to various charity organizations , which just further exemplified her very special and selfless spirit that will be greatly missed. Her favorite bible verse was John 11:25-26, ‘Jesus said unto her. I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die.’” [1]
